CSTF2(1)

C21

Cornering stiffness for small slip angles of right front tire of V2. For calculation procedure please see example following card 7.

Inputs for the cornering stiffness may be entered as positive or negative (for conformity with original SMAC)

Please also see discussion of cornering stiffness below.

NOTE: The tire cornering stiffness for Vehicle 1 may be changed during a simulation run (e.g., a tire deflates), see optional input card 45.

Veh2 Tire friction factor multiplier

The Optional TIRMU inputs permits the simulation of individual tires which have drag factors different than the nominal MU (i.e., metal gouging, etc.). If entered as 0.0, program assumes default value of 1.0 (normal).A value of TIRMU of 0.86 would reduce the effective friction coefficient for a tire from a nominal of 0.70 to 0.60. The nominal friction coefficient is determined for an individual wheel by either the friction zone as specified on input card 12 or by a polygon friction zone specified on card(s) 30,31,32.

NOTE: The optional tire friction factor multiplier (TIRMU) for Vehicle 2 may be changed during a simulation run (e.g., a tire deflates and rim gouges), see optional input card 49.
