DISCUSSION: Damage Measurements

The vehicle damage data as defined by the Collision Deformation Classification (CDC, per SAE J224 MAR80) and the Equidistant Crush Measurement (ECM, per SAE J2433) can be input to m-smac. Future releases of m-smac will use this data for graphical display, automatic placement of the Center of Collision Interface (CCI), and possibly an auxiliary routine which will perform an independent crush analysis (per a CRASH-type analysis).
