ISTOP Errors which may be encountered and messages displayed

If your run abnormally ends, check your View menu, Item 5 Run Messages, or View menu item C Complete Output dataset. In either of these datasets should be a ISTOP code or other message displayed. These tables give a brief additional description of the error condition.

4	COLL	143	Wrong value selected from TPSIB table on J index
5	SAVMAX	41	Problem encountered while rearranging maximum accelerations
7	COLL	173	IPRES ≥ 200, indicates that more than 200 increments, ∆ρ, have been used in selecting equilibrium without a solution. Requires and increase in the value of ∆ρ (e.g., to 0.30 inches, m-smac input cards 13, field 2) to reduce the required number of increments required. See discussion in m-smac input manual following input card 13 NOTE: This error may also occur if the impact configuration causes the vectors from the two vehicles to become near perpendicular. Please also see discussion on the center of collision interface, m-smac input card 96, page Error! Bookmark not defined.
9	COLL	1800	Indicates that the capacity of the equilibrium interface table (100 in original, 250 in m-smac) used in calculation of the collision forces has been exceeded. Can be avoided by increasing the angle, DelPSI (∆Ψ, m-smac input card 13 field 1), between Rho vectors. (Default if 1 degree increase to 2, if 2 increase to 3)
10	COLL	193	Problem with RHOBIC vector (0 value), RHOBIC are the undeformed vector length

11	COLL	1452	Problem with values for TSPSIB, TCPSIB (cos & Sin of PSIB values)
15	TRAJ	35	Error in use of terrain boundary. INDXB is negative.
50	OUTPUT	50	Problem with page count

70	OUT2	67	Problem in setting the second digit of the clock direction for the post-processing VDI output for vehicle #1
71	OUT2	86	Problem in setting the second digit of the clock direction for the post-processing VDI output for vehicle #2
51	OUT2	50	Page count wrong
30	RNGDAM	62	No match for clock direction of maximum force and damage area midpoint. As default, program will use the first clock direction as it corresponds to the largest maximum.
41	DAMAGE	241	PSD1 > 2π endpoint of damage region after adjustment
42	DAMAGE	245	PSK2 > 2π endpoint of damage region after adjustment
43	DAMAGE	249	PSIMT > 2π midpoint from adjusted midpoints
