ISTOP Errors which may be encountered and messages displayed

If your run abnormally ends, check your View menu, Item 5 Run Messages, or View menu item C Complete Output dataset. In either of these datasets should be a ISTOP code or other message displayed. These tables give a brief additional description of the error condition.

Requires and increase in the value of ∆ρ (e.g., to 0.30 inches, m-smac input cards 13, field 2) to reduce the required number of increments required. NOTE: This error may also occur if the impact configuration causes the vectors from the two vehicles to become near perpendicular. Please also see discussion on the center of collision interface, m-smac input card 96, page  Error! Bookmark not defined.

Indicates that the capacity of the equilibrium interface table (100 in original, 250 in m-smac) used in calculation of the collision forces has been exceeded. Can be avoided by increasing the angle, DelPSI (∆Ψ, m-smac input card 13 field 1),  between Rho vectors. (Default if 1 degree increase to 2, if 2 increase to 3)
